Covering all aspects of adult social care law and how to apply it in practice: the Care Act, Mental Capacity Law, Mental Health Law and Adult Safeguarding.
I am always happy to create bespoke courses to meet specific needs, for example Ordinary Residence and s.117 for Forensic Social Workers.
Autism
Specialist autism training for the social care sector (adults and children), education and health services. Created by Yo and delivered by one of a small group of autistic trainers, who each have in-depth knowledge of autism and neurodiversity more broadly
Our training is practical and from an autistic perspective. Yo's specialist knowledge of social care, as the author of Social work with Autistic People, enables us to offer unique courses that really meet the needs of practitioners.

I am trusted and valued by a lengthy list of local authorities to provide high quality, excellent value bespoke legal training to their staff which engages and empowers them as practitioners.
My team of autistic trainers and I also provide autism training with practical strategies and realistic scenarios. We specialise in autism for social care.
I am also involved in numerous projects in the autism world, mostly in my capacity as Strategic Lead of the National Autistic Taskforce.
